• Experience working with young people, ideally in a secondary education.
• Confident classroom presence with strong behaviour management.
• Ability to follow lesson plans left by staff.
• Flexible, professional and proactive in supporting pupils and staff.
• Two relevant references, ideally from an educational setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes across a range of subjects in the absence of the class teacher.
• Keep pupils on task and ensure work is completed.
• Promote positive behaviour and follow the school policy.
• Provide guidance to pupils to stay engaged with learning.
