TeacherActive is working with a mainstream Secondary School based in Dudley. An experienced Cover Supervisor is needed for long-term placements with flexible day-to-day work available.

The successful candidate will supervise classes across the secondary age range, deliver pre-planned work, confidently manage classroom behaviour and use strong IT skills to support lesson delivery and engagement. Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar classroom-based role within a secondary school
• Proven experience managing classroom behaviour effectively and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Strong IT skills, including confidence using school systems, interactive whiteboards and digital learning resources
• Confidence delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of secondary subjects
• Excellent classroom management, communication and organisational skills
• A flexible, reliable and proactive approach, with the ability to manage challenging situations confidently
