Job summary

Skilled Careers is seeking a skilled Plumber for a long-term freelance contract in Oxfordshire. The role focuses on reactive maintenance within a secured environment, requiring vetting and DBS where applicable.

You will perform a range of plumbing tasks, including fault finding, repairs, taps and toilet replacements, and general maintenance across multiple sites, from hospitals to housing sectors. A valid CSCS card, NVQ Level 2, and full UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Essential requirements include CSCS card and NVQ Level 2 or equivalent plumbing qualification.
• Fluent English communication is required.
• Ability to pass strict background checks and security vetting.

Responsibilities

• Reactive plumbing maintenance and repairs.
• Fault finding and diagnostics.
• Repairing and replacing taps, valves, toilets and other plumbing fixtures.
• Carrying out general plumbing repairs and remedial works.
• Basic water system maintenance.
• Identifying leaks and carrying out repairs.
• Using power tools safely and effectively.
