Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is seeking a Teacher of MFL German for a long-term temporary role at a secondary school in Preston, Lancashire, starting January 2027. The post offers a stable leadership and a supportive school environment.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging German lessons, contribute to pupil progress and maintain high expectations with strong classroom management. QTS or equivalent teaching qualification is required.

Qualifications

• QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge in German and MFL.
• Experience teaching German within a secondary school setting.
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• A commitment to raising attainment and supporting pupil progress.
• Enthusiasm for languages and a passion for education.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
