Aspire People are recruiting an Early Career Teacher (ECT) for a long-term primary teaching opportunity in the Manchester area, starting November 2026 onward.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS.
• Relevant UK-based school experience within the last two years, including placements or employment.
• Good understanding of the primary curriculum.
• Strong classroom-management and communication skills.
• Commitment to professional development and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for class teaching in line with the agreed role.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons.
• Support pupil progress across the primary curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom.
• Manage behaviour and establish clear routines.
• Assess learning and adapt teaching to meet pupils' needs.
• Work alongside colleagues and school leadership.
