Job summary

QS Recruitment Ltd in the UK is seeking van drivers for UK-wide deliveries with early starts and long shifts. You will typically complete 4–8 drops per shift and be part of a double-manned team when handling heavy goods.

Shifts start between 5am and 8am, with Monday to Friday work and occasional Saturdays. All duties require safe load handling with provided equipment. Paid PAYE at £12.71–£13 per hour, with 28 days holiday pro rata.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of commercial van driving experience.
• No more than 3 points on driving licence.
• Willingness to work solo or in a double-manned team depending on goods.

Job Description

Early starts and early finishes for van drivers!

You will be delivering goods across the UK with early starts but early finishes perfect for enjoying sunny afternoons after work!

You will be expected to deliver goods in a timely manner – this is not a multidrop position however, you can expect between 4-8 drops per shift. The distance travelled is the reason for the early starts.

You should be comfortable with handling heavy goods although you will be provided with full equipment and working on a double manned team if handling heavy goods.

Hourly Rate: £12.71 - £13 per hour PAYE with 28 days of holiday pro rata.

Working Hours: Start times will be between 5am and 8am. Shifts are 10-12 hours roughlyThis is a Monday to Friday position with occasional Saturdays available (and optional).

Experience & Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• A minimum of 6 months’ commercial van driving experience
• No more than 3 points on your driving licence
• A positive attitude and to be happy to work either solo or as part of a double manned team (depending on the nature of the goods being delivered)
