The Best Connection is currently recruiting C+E HGV Tramper Drivers for longer-distance driving assignments across the UK. This is a guaranteed 10-week assignment with the potential for a permanent position on completion.

Shifts are around 10 hours, with routes changing weekly and for longer-distance journeys nationwide. You’ll use the Amazon Relay app for route details, and a 24-hour driver support line is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months HGV driving experience required.
• Tramper experience advantageous but not essential.
• Good geographical knowledge and route planning awareness.
• Ability to work independently on longer-distance journeys.
• Flexible approach to working hours and varying routes.
• Strong communication and professional attitude.
• Experience with smartphone apps, especially Amazon Relay.

Responsabilités

• Undertake longer-distance journeys nationwide with varying routes.
• Typically fewer than five drops per run and schedule variability.
• Routes communicated via Amazon Relay app.
• Schedules issued the Thursday before the working week; last-minute updates may occur.
• Induction and assessment before first operational shift.
