Job summary

The Best Connection is currently recruiting C+E HGV Drivers for trunk driving assignments. Only 3 positions available - Starting Sunday 15th November!

Drivers will perform trunking, typically 5-6 drops or trailer swaps per shift, returning to the Darlington base. Routes span the North East, North West, South Yorkshire and Scotland, with the same trunk route allocated weekly for consistency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' HGV driving experience.
• Trunking experience advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to complete multiple drops and trailer swaps.
• Good timekeeping and communication skills.
• Ability to follow allocated routes and operational instructions.
• Willingness to download and use the Amazon Relay app.

Responsibilities

• Undertake trunking operations with 5–6 drops per shift.
• Return to base in Darlington after each run.
• Routes cover North East, North West, South Yorkshire and Scotland.
• Schedules and route details communicated via Amazon Relay app.
