Job summary

Brevan Howard invites a penultimate-year student to join our Summer Internship Program in London. You will apply quantitative and ML skills to real-world data, build production-grade analysis, and contribute to trading insights on a fast-paced desk.

You'll work with front-office teams on data pipelines, AI-enabled tools using LLMs, and our analytics library, with a one-week training kickoff and mentorship. Top performers may progress to the 2028 Graduate Program.

Qualifications

• Penultimate year undergraduate/junior or 1st year master's or PhD student.
• Strong mathematical, quantitative and problem-solving capabilities.
• Interest and passion for financial markets and trading.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Entrepreneurial spirit.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Build pipelines to extract and analyze data and support decision-making.
• Integrate AI into analytical systems and build AI-powered tools.
• Contribute to the core analytics library used by Quants and PMs.
• One-week in-depth training covering markets, AI tools, Excel and Python.
• Attend talks, mentor program and social events to learn from experts.
• Potential pathway to Brevan Howard's 2028 Graduate Program.
