Job summary

Hydrogen Group is recruiting for a leading US law firm seeking an Associate in London to join its transactional IP, Technology & Commercial practice. You will advise on non-contentious IP and technology issues arising from transactions and help manage IP/IT risks throughout deal processes.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 PQE with strong commercial contract experience, exposure to IP/tech matters and excellent drafting skills to translate complex issues into pragmatic commercial advice.

Qualifications

• 3–5 PQE in a common law jurisdiction with strong commercial contract experience.
• Experience involving IP and/or technology matters and exposure to transactional support work.
• Strong drafting and technical legal skills and the ability to translate IP/technology issues into pragmatic commercial advice.

Responsibilities

• Advise on non-contentious IP and technology issues arising from transactions.
• Identify and manage IP/IT risks during deal processes.
• Draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements including licensing, outsourcing, software/technology agreements, transitional services, manufacturing supply, distribution and R&D contracts.
