Job summary

Cedar is partnering with a private equity-backed healthcare services business in Central London to appoint a Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The role offers £150,000-180,000 base salary, plus bonus and equity, and is based in London with hybrid working 2–3 days per week.

Working closely with the CEO, Board and PE investor, the CFO will lead the finance function and drive the next stage of value creation and exit readiness, including budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience with private equity-backed exits or complex transactions.
• Strong commercial finance and financial modelling capability.
• Proven track record working with CEOs, boards and PE investors.

Responsibilities

• Lead exit readiness and buyer due diligence.
• Develop the equity story, historic performance and growth plan.
• Own budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning.
• Drive EBITDA, margin, cash and working capital improvements.
• Lead vendor due diligence and Quality of Earnings workstream.
• Ensure MI and KPI reporting reflects value drivers.
• Partner with operational leadership on profitability and pricing.
• Maintain financial control and forecasting discipline.
• Develop the finance team during transaction activity.
• Manage relationships with PE investor, Board, lenders and advisers.
