Job summary

Harmony is recruiting a Pre-Construction Manager to lead M&E pre-construction in London, owning the full bid cycle from enquiry to submission for fire alarms, emergency lighting and sprinklers. You will guide a London-based team, aligning with estimating, design, procurement and delivery to win work.

You will build client relationships, manage risk, and drive efficient, compliant tender submissions, reporting to the Head of M&E Pre-Construction.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a pre-construction or estimating management role within M&E fire safety.
Strong commercial acumen with ability to price accurately and manage margins.
Experience leading a pre-construction or estimating team.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Knowledge of BS 5839, BS 5266 and BS EN 12845.

Responsibilities

Lead and own the M&E pre-construction function in London from enquiry to submission.
Produce high-quality, compliant tender submissions for fire safety works.
Develop and mentor the London M&E pre-construction team.
Collaborate with estimating, design and delivery teams to ensure sound bids.
Build client and consultant relationships to drive growth.
Maintain live bid tracker and ensure timely submissions.
Support handover of won projects to delivery teams.
Provide market intelligence to inform pricing strategy.
