The successful candidate will oversee design quality, drive technical delivery, and collaborate across disciplines with clients and contractors to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in electrical building services design.
• Proven ability to lead projects and take responsibility for technical delivery.
• Experience mentoring or developing junior engineers.
• Strong knowledge of electrical design standards and regulations.
• Confident communicating with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience delivering complex or technically challenging projects.
• Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Chartered status or clear commitment towards it would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design on complex, bespoke building services projects.
• Take responsibility for projects from concept through to detailed design and delivery.
• Manage, mentor and develop a small team of engineers.
• Oversee technical output, design quality and project delivery.
• Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, structural and architectural teams.
• Attend client meetings and build strong working relationships.
• Provide technical leadership and support across the wider team.
• Help drive standards, processes and the continued growth of the business.
