Job summary

Cityscape Recruitment LTD. is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead workplace design projects from concept to delivery in a London-based hybrid role.

You will guide multidisciplinary teams, shape design strategy, and ensure design excellence throughout the project lifecycle. The role requires strong portfolio leadership, client-facing skills, mentoring capabilities, and solid project management with a commercial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead workplace design projects from briefing and concept development through to delivery.
• Mentor internal design teams, fostering collaboration and creativity.
• Develop innovative design solutions balancing functionality, aesthetics and commercial objectives.
• Present design concepts and proposals to clients and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project managers, consultants and delivery teams.
• Maintain design intent through all project phases.
• Manage programmes, resources and budgets effectively.
• Support business development activities, pitches and client presentations.
• Stay informed on workplace trends and sustainability initiatives.
