Job summary

Modus Careers Limited in London is seeking a Designer to lead workplace furniture specification and consultancy. Hybrid role with up to £50,000 DOE and annual bonus. You will work with the Director on major projects from concept through installation, presenting solutions to clients and coordinating technical details.

We expect experience in commercial workplace furniture, strong client-facing skills, and a proactive, growth-minded approach. The environment is entrepreneurial and collaborative.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial workplace furniture projects.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and take ownership.

Responsibilities

• Advising clients, architects and design teams on workplace furniture solutions.
• Developing furniture specifications and presentation material.
• Space planning and workplace design.
• Producing technical drawings and installation information.
• Presenting concepts and recommendations to clients.
• Supporting tender submissions and project delivery.
• Researching manufacturers, products and trends.
• Managing multiple projects across varying scales.
• Contributing ideas to the business direction.
