Job summary

Illuminate Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead the creation of digital, interactive and publication-based assets for a global professional audience. The role is hybrid with three days on site in West End, London, and will combine campaigns, learning content, brand development and publication design.

Qualifications

• Strong portfolio demonstrating digital design, publication layout and interactive design capability.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Familiarity with Figma or similar tools for prototyping and digital layout.
• Understanding of UX principles and accessibility standards for digital content.
• Excellent organisation, communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work calmly under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Designing digital graphics for web, email, social media and online campaigns.
• Creating interactive visuals and user-friendly layouts for e-learning modules and digital courses.
• Leading the design and layout of research reports, white papers and data-rich publications.
• Visualising charts, insights and complex information in clear, engaging formats.
• Developing templates, design systems and visual frameworks to support internal teams.
• Ensuring all digital and print content aligns with brand standards and user experience.
• Evolving the organisation’s visual identity across corporate learning and research sectors.
• Managing design workflows, external suppliers and freelance creatives from brief through to delivery.
