Aldwych Consulting Ltd in London is seeking an experienced Associate Geotechnical Engineer to join our London team on a hybrid basis. You will lead geotechnical projects from investigation through design and construction support, liaising with engineers and multidisciplinary teams. The role combines technical leadership with project management, client engagement and mentoring of junior engineers, including involvement in fee proposals and business development.

Responsibilities

• Managing geotechnical and geo-environmental projects from inception through to completion.
• Designing and supervising ground investigations.
• Producing interpretative reports and geotechnical assessments.
• Undertaking foundation, retaining wall, earthworks and slope stability assessments.
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Managing project programmes, budgets and resources.
• Liaising with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Supporting fee proposals and contributing to business development.

Associate Geotechnical Engineer

Location: London | Hybrid Working

Salary: Up to £70,000 + Benefits

I'm working with a well-established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint an experienced Associate Geotechnical Engineer to join its London team.

The business has a strong reputation across the built environment, delivering engineering and environmental services across sectors including residential, commercial, education, healthcare, regeneration and infrastructure.

This is an opportunity to take a senior position within an established geotechnical team, combining technical delivery and project management with client engagement, mentoring and business development.

The Role

You’ll take responsibility for the delivery of geotechnical projects from initial investigation through to design and construction support, working closely with engineers and other disciplines across the wider business.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing geotechnical and geo-environmental projects from inception through to completion.
