Job summary

Hamilton Barnes is seeking a Frontend Developer to join on-site in London for a 12-month initial contract inside IR35. You will design, implement, and optimise user interfaces using Angular and TypeScript within a financial services environment, collaborating with cross-functional delivery teams.

You will work with NgRx for state management, RxJS streams, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines while writing tests with Jasmine, Karma, Jest, or Cypress and focusing on performance and accessibility.

Qualifications

• Proficient in modern JavaScript frameworks with strong Angular experience.
• Strong TypeScript expertise and component-based architecture.
• Experience with NgRx for application state management and Redux patterns.
• Testing experience with Jasmine, Karma, Jest, or Cypress and CI/CD integration.

Responsibilities

• Develop UI components using Angular, React, or Vue with TypeScript.
• Manage application state using NgRx (Store, Effects, Selectors).
• Use RxJS for asynchronous data streams and reactive programming.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests (Jasmine, Karma, Jest, Cypress).
• Optimise performance with lazy loading, AOT, and code splitting, in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
