Job summary

Counter Terrorism Policing is seeking an IT Engineer within the DDAT Technology team to support Specialist Operations across London. You will work hands-on with operational colleagues, ensuring reliable IT and equipment so policing is not impeded.

Based on site, you will install and configure Wintel devices, provide guidance on desktop systems, and liaise with internal and external partners. Strong communication and ability to work under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of common Microsoft apps (O365, Windows, Edge) and Office suite.
• Experience assisting users with IT faults and liaising with internal staff and contractors.
• Ability to plan, prioritise workloads and work under pressure while supporting multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Attend SO sites across the MPS estate.
• Manage workloads in an ITSM system.
• Review requests for IT support and liaise with users.
