Job summary

York St John University, with its London Campus, is seeking an ambitious Executive Education and Business Development Manager to lead the growth of Executive Education, professional development and employer engagement at the London Campus.

You will identify and secure new business opportunities, build strategic relationships with employers, and develop a strong pipeline of commercially viable activity, collaborating with colleagues in York to create a joined-up university offer across Knowledge

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience of business development, employer engagement, account management or income-generating activity.
• Experience developing projects, partnerships or business opportunities from initial concept through to delivery.
• Commercially aware and able to build relationships with external clients and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, communication and project leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and growth of Executive Education, professional development and employer engagement at the London Campus.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities and build strategic employer relationships.
• Develop a strong pipeline of commercially viable Executive Education activity and turn market needs into programmes and partnerships.
• Work with academic and professional services to align offerings with York expectations and wider Knowledge Exchange initiatives.
