Job summary

Jackson Lift Services Limited is seeking an Escalator Engineer based in London to maintain, repair and service escalators, reporting to the Escalator Supervisor. You will manage your service route, complete insurance items, and identify required parts while performing fault-finding on mechanical and electrical systems.

The role requires driving, DBS clearance, and strong communication with clients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering or equivalent.
• EOR204 Basic Escalator Safety or equivalent.
• A current valid driving licence.
• A DBS check will be required.
• The ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, breakdowns and repairs.
• Manage your service route.
• Complete insurance report items.
• Identify parts required for the job.
• Fault-finding: mechanical and electrical.
• Handrail replacement preferred, but not essential.
• Participate in a callout rota.

Education

NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering

EOR204 Basic Escalator Safety

A current driving licence

DBS check required
