Job summary

Greenberg Traurig LLP in London is seeking an Energy & Infrastructure Associate to join our expanding team. The role covers M&A, project development, financing and contracts across energy sectors, including renewables and decarbonisation, with a focus on complex transactions.

You will work closely with clients, manage diligence processes, and support deal teams while developing expertise in a global practice.

Qualifications

• Experience in energy-focused team with significant energy project/finance exposure.
• Ability to understand complex legal principles and apply them.
• Excellent oral and written communication, presentation and influencing skills.
• Demonstrate client interaction with ability to generate business development opportunities.
• Commercial and pragmatic outlook with flexible, hands-on attitude.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth management of transactions and projects as part of the deal team.
• Conduct and oversee due diligence for projects and transactions.
• Draft and negotiate key project and transaction documents.
• Engage in business development with the broader team.
• Manage client work, expectations and ensure high-quality client service.
