Job summary

Cloudflare, London, is hiring an Engineering Manager to lead the Edge SRE team. You will oversee a group of SREs responsible for edge production reliability, building tools for others to interact with the edge, and driving platform initiatives across engineering and product teams.

You will guide engineers in developing scalable, observable systems, set priorities for the SRE org, and lead cross-team collaboration to meet reliability goals and performance targets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering, reliability, or operations experience in a customer-focused environment.
• 2+ years experience managing a team of 5+ engineers on projects in distributed systems, tooling, Linux, internetworking, or infrastructure management.
• Experience leading cross-team projects and workflows.
• Ability to provide a strong technical vision for systems and infrastructure teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers responsible for Cloudflare edge reliability and scalability.
• Mentor and empower your team; help them develop and execute personal development plans.
• Prioritize the roadmap for the SRE Org and drive cross-team alignment across engineering, infrastructure and product teams.
• Participate in deep technical design discussions to ensure we build high-quality systems.
