Job summary

Encore is seeking a proactive Concierge in London to greet residents, assist with queries and coordinate maintenance requests. You’ll contribute to a safe, welcoming environment in a dynamic building with 4 on 4 off shifts from 7am to 7pm.

The role emphasises customer service, security awareness, and local knowledge of the London area to enhance residents’ experience. Prior concierge or security experience is valued, with health & safety awareness a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience as a concierge is beneficial; customer service or security background valued.
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
• Health & safety qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
• A positive, can-do attitude, attention to detail, and responsible approach.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist residents and visitors warmly, handling queries and maintenance requests.
• Address issues promptly, from maintenance to emergencies, escalating as needed.
• Conduct regular site walk-arounds, check IDs, and monitor CCTV to maintain safety.
• Handle and record deliveries for residents to ensure smooth communications and pickup.
• Keep the concierge area and lobby looking presentable.
• Assist with safety checks, fire alarm, emergency lighting, and smoke vent testing.
• Offer local area knowledge to enhance residents' experience.
