Job summary

JLL, a leading real estate services firm, seeks a London-based BMS & OT Systems Engineer to support reliability, performance and secure operation of building management and control systems across a critical portfolio.

The role focuses on BMS/OT engineering delivery, resilience, cyber-awareness and governance across multiple sites with cross-functional collaboration with IT, security and facilities teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on BMS/industrial controls engineering across multi-site estates.
• Diagnose, commission and optimise BMS in live operational environments.
• Knowledge of OT communications protocols: BACnet, Modbus, OPC, LonWorks.
• Experience managing BMS/OT servers, databases, backups and lifecycle.
• Governance: documentation, change control and evidence-based commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day health and integrity of BMS/OT platforms across the portfolio.
• Diagnose faults, optimise performance and strategy improvements.
• Lead lifecycle engineering activities including software upgrades and platform migrations.
• Support commissioning, tuning and validation of control strategies, alarms and trends.
• Own engineering standards and quality for BMS work delivered by vendors.
