Intervl is partnering with a fast-growing EV infrastructure business as it scales across the UK and Europe. We are seeking a Technical Design Manager to own the technical development of high-powered EV charging sites from feasibility through to construction.

You will lead technical due diligence, assess site constraints, manage external consultants, coordinate grid connections with DNOs/IDNOs, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while aligning with senior leadership on

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in technical design, engineering or infrastructure development.
• Background in EV charging, utilities, energy infrastructure, forecourts or similar multi-site developments.
• Strong understanding of civil and electrical engineering design, technical due diligence and site feasibility.
• Experience managing external consultants, technical approvals and regulatory consents.
• Knowledge of grid connections, DNOs/IDNOs and HV infrastructure would be advantageous.
• Commercially minded, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead technical due diligence, site feasibility assessments and surveys across multiple projects.
• Identify technical constraints, development risks and abnormal costs before construction.
• Manage external civil, structural and electrical engineering consultants, overseeing design development and approvals.
• Coordinate grid connections with DNOs/IDNOs, including HV design approvals and associated agreements.
• Oversee technical programmes, resolving challenges to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Work closely with development and construction teams to ensure sites are ready for delivery.
