Job summary

METLEN Energy & Metals in London is seeking a Project Manager to lead solar park construction projects within the MRES-ET division. You will coordinate design, engineering and procurement activities, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

The role requires a 5+ year track record in large EPC projects, a relevant engineering degree, and strong communication skills to manage stakeholders and contractors. A competitive remuneration package is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of proven experience in medium- to large-scale solar park construction within EPC companies.
• Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Project and MS Office.
• Strong project management, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from inception to completion, delivering on time, within scope and budget.
• Coordinate design, engineering and development teams to define requirements, optimize solutions and manage risks.
• Conduct site surveys and support cost estimation, budgeting and commercial analysis.
• Manage RFQs, suppliers and subcontractors, including contracts, scope and performance.
• Develop and monitor project budgets, schedules and resource allocation.
• Supervise project execution and site activities, ensuring QHSE compliance.
• Monitor progress and risks, providing reports and corrective actions.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships, project documentation and handover to O&M.
