Job summary

Bird & Bird in London is seeking a Client Relationship Manager within the Marketing & Business Development team. You will manage a diverse portfolio of clients, design account strategy, collect feedback, and support proposals across practices and countries.

The role focuses on delivering exceptional client experiences, strengthening relationships, and driving growth with our global client service network. Preference is given to candidates with experience in Legal or Professional Services.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Legal or Professional Services environment preferred.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Able to identify potential new business opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to forge strong relationships with partners and clients.

Responsibilities

• Work with the client partner and account team to design and implement an effective account strategy including an account plan, budget and relationship map.
• Facilitate an annual client relationship review with the account team to evaluate the success of the account plan; implement and manage client relationship maps.
• With the Client Listening team, implement and manage systematic client feedback processes to evaluate client engagement and identify new business opportunities.
• Manage and execute global account team coordination and communications to drive account activity; organize and prepare agendas for meetings.
• Continuously monitor key industry and client issues by reviewing press releases and using research tools; share insights with the account team.
• Prepare partners prior to client meetings including tailored materials.
• Support the proposals process on major RFPs and tenders, coordinating client pitch materials.
