Job summary

Bird & Bird in London seeks a Client Relationship Manager to join the Marketing and Business Development team. You will manage a diverse client portfolio, drive exceptional service and account management across multiple practices and countries, and contribute to client innovation and growth.

The role collaborates with the Global Client Service & Insight and MBD teams to strengthen relationships with global clients, share best practices, and support process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in legal or professional services environment is advantageous.
• Demonstrates strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Ability to identify potential new business opportunities.
• Proven track record in delivering excellent client service in direct client-facing role(s).
• Forges strong relationships with partners and clients.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement an effective account strategy including account plan, budget and relationship map.
• Facilitate annual client relationship reviews with the account team to evaluate success and update the plan.
• Manage client feedback processes to evaluate engagement and identify new opportunities.
• Coordinate global account team communications and drive actions across meetings and notes.
• Monitor industry and client issues using press releases and research tools and share insights with the team.
• Prepare partners before client meetings and support tailored materials production.
• Support the proposals process on major RFPs and tenders, coordinating client pitch materials.
