Job summary

Angard Staffing is looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as flexible (temporary) Mail Sorters with Royal Mail. This role offers varied shifts and a chance to be part of a team that helps keep the country moving.

You don’t need prior experience; newcomers are welcomed. If you’ve worked in a warehouse or distribution environment, that’s a bonus. References will be conducted for last 5 years in the UK and abroad.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; new starters welcome.
• Warehouse or distribution experience is a bonus.
• Angard Staffing will conduct extensive referencing.
• Must be able to lift mail bags up to 11 kg and push trolleys up to 250 kg.

Responsibilities

• Unloading mail and parcels
• Sorting items by postcode and moving them through the warehouse
• Working efficiently to meet tight deadlines; some teams sort over a million items in a single shift

Pay & Shifts

The table below outlines the pay rates applicable for Mail Sorter roles within our Mail Centres and Parcel Hubs. The rates displayed are payable for the entirety of your shift where the shift description criteria is met.

Rates could be subject to change during busy periods, Angard staffing will communicate any change to your pay rates in advance.

• Day Shift: STARTS ANDFINISHES BETWEEN 0531- 1959 - £16.24
• Dawn Shift: STARTS BETWEEN0201 - 0400 - £17.16
• Early 05:00: STARTS BETWEEN0401 - 0500 - £16.73
• Early 05:30: STARTS BETWEEN0501 - 0530 - £16.49
• Evening: FINISHESBETWEEN 2000 - 2139 - £16.93
• Lates: FINISHESBETWEEN 2140 - 0159 - £17.70
• Nights: THREE HOURSACROSS 2300 - 0500 - £19.00
• Overtime (40+ hours): Mon - Sat - £16.24
• Bank Holidays: All Day - £24.36
