Job summary

Leap29 is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead technology initiatives, including software development, Python and AI, in a complex public service environment.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams, manage delivery plans, risks and outcomes, and ensure clear ownership of timelines and dependencies. You will communicate with senior decision-makers to keep initiatives on track.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager in tech-driven environments.
• Experience delivering complex software or digital transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of software engineering lifecycles and Python awareness.
• Experience coordinating AI, data teams and senior stakeholders.
• Experience in Agile delivery environments (Scrum/Kanban/hybrid).
• PRINCE2, PMP, APM or Agile certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of technical projects involving software development, Python, AI and data solutions.
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, resources, budgets, dependencies and risk registers.
• Coordinate software engineers, AI specialists, data professionals, architects and external partners.
• Translate product roadmaps into structured delivery plans with Technical Product Owners.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Facilitate project meetings, workshops and stakeholder updates.
• Manage dependencies across systems, APIs, data pipelines and third-party services.
• Ensure governance, documentation, security, data protection and quality standards.
