Job summary

Manpower UK is seeking a reliable Logistics Assistant to join the Fleet team. You will manage receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of electronic equipment and products, ensuring accuracy and timely deliveries across the UK.

The role suits someone with warehouse or stores experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safe working practices and attention to detail. Weekly pay and a Monday to Friday pattern are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or logistics environment.
• Experience using SAP or similar stock management systems.
• GCSEs or equivalent qualifications.
• NVQ Level 1 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check deliveries of goods and supplies.
• Pack and dispatch equipment to customers across the UK and to European subsidiaries and manufacturing sites.
• Store goods safely and accurately within the warehouse.
• Move stock manually or using lifting equipment.
• Load goods ready for dispatch.
• Process stock information, delivery notes, and shipping labels using SAP and other computerised systems.
• Maintain accurate stock records and inventory data.
• Carry out stock counts and inventory checks as required.
• Keep warehouse documentation and records up to date.
• Follow manual handling procedures and safe working practices at all times.
• Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient working environment.
