Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking a reliable Logistics Assistant to join the Fleet team in Fleet. The role focuses on efficient receipt, storage, handling and dispatch of electronic equipment, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Candidates should have warehouse or stores experience and an eye for detail. The position involves packing, dispatch across the UK, accurate stock management, and adherence to safety practices within a busy logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or stores experience is essential.
• Experience using SAP or similar stock management systems would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check deliveries of goods and supplies.
• Pack and dispatch equipment to customers across the UK and to European subsidiaries and manufacturing sites.
• Store goods safely and accurately within the warehouse.
• Move stock manually or using appropriate lifting equipment.
• Load goods ready for dispatch.
• Process stock information, delivery notes, and shipping labels using SAP and other computerised systems.
• Maintain accurate stock records and inventory data.
• Carry out stock counts and inventory checks as required.
• Keep all warehouse documentation and records up to date.
• Follow manual handling procedures and safe working practices at all times.
• Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient working environment.
