Job summary

Gist is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support change and transformation, basing in Chineham with hybrid working. You will translate operating challenges into clear requirements and help shape structured governance and documentation for projects.

You will develop governance materials, stage gate frameworks and dashboards, and collaborate with delivery teams to ensure business objectives are met while driving continuous improvement and effective decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience designing governance frameworks, stage gate processes and PMO controls.
• Ability to capture, structure and document requirements clearly.
• Experience with Jira, PPM or workflow tools.
• Knowledge of change control, risk and dependency management; reporting.
• Ability to create governance reporting, dashboards and KPIs.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Organised with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain core project documentation and materials; ensure clear scope and outcomes.
• Facilitate workshops to obtain requirements, map processes and identify risks.
• Support evaluation and implementation of Jira and PMO tooling.
• Develop templates, standards, guidance materials and governance documentation.
• Design, implement and maintain stage gate frameworks and governance forums.
• Develop and improve change control, risk and dependency management processes.
• Create and maintain project controls, dashboards and performance metrics.
• Translate operational challenges into clear problem statements, options and recommendations.
• Maintain and organise key project information with version control.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to clarify requirements throughout the lifecycle.
• Support structured ways of working and governance standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and tools.
