About the role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Transformation Manager on a 12 month fixed term basis. In this role, you will lead the divisional logistics transformation programme, driving improvements across the division in all logistics-related activities including inbound and outbound transportation, ensuring they are executed properly and in the most cost-effective way, achieving or improving customer expectation.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, Paper, and working alongside the mill logistics management and divisional teams, you will monitor and co-ordinate the key logistics activities that are aligned to Paper’s strategic goals and ensure they are on track to deliver the committed results. You will be sponsoring and leading key strategic projects related to logistics across the Division in line with the corporate plan.
A crucial measure of success will be the ability to build relationships and influence with sites, country and regional teams as well as Divisional and Group cross-functional stakeholders across the value chain. This should involve striking the balance of challenge and support of these stakeholders.
