Freightliner is seeking a Traffic Clerk in Southampton to input and manage all container movements within the terminal, using Freightliner IT systems to ensure safe and cost-effective operations. You will release containers to third parties and perform general clerical duties, while delivering high levels of customer service.

The role requires excellent IT skills, flexibility in shift patterns, and a strong commitment to health and safety.

Qualifications

• Excellent IT skills and ability to use terminal systems.
• Flexible in working hours and shift patterns.

• Experience in rail, container, port or logistics is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Input and manage container movements within the terminal using Freightliner systems.
• Ensure correct release of containers to third parties and perform clerical duties.
• Plan container movements and crane lifts to optimize safety and productivity.
• Maintain professional radio communications and respond to internal/external queries.
• Uphold health and safety standards as a core part of daily activities.
