Job summary

Greencore operates a Barton-upon-Humber site manufacturing chilled baguettes in a busy, fast-paced environment. You will be part of the logistics team, handling administration, stock checks, and goods movement with forklift equipment.

The role requires counterbalance and reach FLT licences, strong numeracy and literacy, and teamwork to maintain high GMP standards across despatch, goods-in, and warehouse areas.

Qualifications

• Relevant Logistics/Stores/Despatch experience in food or warehousing.
• High attention to detail and accuracy with documentation.
• Excellent numeracy and literacy, able to work fast-paced.

Responsibilities

• Taking part in office administration tasks and team coordination.
• Health & Safety monitoring in the area.
• Check and record incoming goods against delivery notes.
• Provide samples for Quality Controllers while unloading the vehicle.
• Move pallets to a designated location using an electric truck/forklift.
• Load and unload vehicles using an electric pallet truck.
• Preparation of goods for transportation.
• Receiving, unloading and checking of deliveries.
• Replenishment of end-of-line, despatch and logistics areas.
• Counting of stock and disposal of materials.
• Monitor temperatures where required; GMP standards maintained.
• Completion of machinery start-up checks.
