Job summary

The Compleat Food Group invites applications for an FLT Operative / Warehouse Operative – Chilled Food Manufacturing. The role covers boxing preparation, stock handling, and order fulfilment on a site with hot and cold areas.

You will operate FLT, assist in loading/unloading, and maintain GMP and safety protocols. Shift patterns vary: PM or Nights, with responsibilities including stock counts, accuracy checks, and adherence to HACCP and PPE guidelines.

Qualifications

• A valid Counterbalance FLT Licence.
• Experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments (chilled and frozen).
• Reliable and punctual; flexible to cover shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the boxing area has packaging for upcoming production runs.
• Move finished goods to chilled or frozen storage.
• Load/unload vehicles using FLT when required.
• Check incoming raw materials and store correctly.
• Enter stock onto the stock control system accurately.
• Rotate stock and perform daily stock counts.
• Pick and prepare customer orders for despatch.
• Carry out daily FLT safety checks.
• Ensure damaged boxes are not sent to customers.
• Maintain GMP standards and a clean working area.
• Follow HACCP, COSHH and PPE procedures.
