Job summary

Advanced Supply Chain Group in Bradford is seeking a Team Manager for a permanent full-time role on a 2pm–10pm shift. You will lead and motivate a team across operations and be responsible for delivering excellent service, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining safety standards.

The salary is £33,024 per year with a hybrid working model and clear development opportunities. The role reports to the Operations Manager and focuses on coaching Team Leaders and Warehouse Operatives to meet

Qualifications

• Experience of managing a team and providing ongoing coaching and guidance.
• Familiar with using and operating an in-house Warehouse Management System.
• Understanding of operational working practice and safe systems of work.
• Familiar with Lean Six Sigma principles.
• Good knowledge of Health and Safety in a warehouse and distribution environment.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages.

Responsibilities

• Understand, and be responsible for all key operational processes and procedures in your area
• Ensure adherence to all H&S regulations – reporting any incidents and near misses via the correct channel
• Analyse data, establish root cause and put in place correct measures, escalating any issues to management team in a timely manner
• Ensure your team have all equipment/training necessary to work productively, supporting and sharing best practice to exceed targets and remain efficient
• Full responsibility for performance management of team, focusing on wellbeing, absence, and performance
• Participate in department and site projects and drive continuous improvement
