Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience within Logistics, Warehousing, Construction, Heavy Industry, Engineering or Operational Environments.
• Experience with materials handling, packing, shipping or stock control.
• Inventory management, stock tracking and labelling experience.
• Experience using digital systems, handheld scanners or asset management tools.
• Inventory audit or asset verification experience (desirable).
• IOSH Working Safely, Manual Handling or similar HSE qualifications (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Support preparation, packing, handling and movement of materials, equipment and waste.
• Conduct inventory collection, tracking, labelling and verification activities.
• Record movements of materials and equipment within logistics systems.
• Maintain storage areas, laydown zones and inventory locations.
• Update logistics databases and asset management systems.
• Support audits, stock checks and asset verification activities.
• Assist with receiving, storing and tracking tools, equipment and consumables.
• Carry out site walkdowns and gather information on access routes, constraints and handling requirements.
• Support logistics planning by providing site observations and practical recommendations.
• Identify and report hazards, risks and operational constraints.
• Work closely with Logistics Engineers, Worksite Managers, SMEs, Health Physics and Waste teams.
• Support reporting, documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.
