Job summary

Owen Gardner Talent is representing a Logistics Operative in Buckinghamshire. The role supports tooling, consumables and stock control to keep production supplied and records accurate. You will work with internal teams and suppliers to ensure availability and timely deliveries.

The successful candidate will have stores/logistics experience in manufacturing, strong IT skills, and a careful, team-oriented approach. Onsite role with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous stores, warehouse, logistics or inventory experience in manufacturing.
• Experience using computerised inventory control or stock management systems.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Reliable, organised and methodical.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Forklift licence preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge of inventory management in aerospace/precision manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Issue tooling, fixtures, gauges and consumables to manufacturing teams.
• Receive, check and store incoming tooling, stock and materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using stock control systems.
• Carry out regular stock checks and cycle counts.
• Prepare, pack and label items for internal transfer and external shipment.
• Process tooling requests and coordinate deliveries to production areas.
• Assist with inventory replenishment across departments.
• Ensure tooling and stock data is kept up to date in systems.
• Support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to health, safety and quality procedures.
