Job summary

F.T. Farfan (Jamaica) Limited in Jamaica seeks a qualified Logistics professional to support the department in ordering, inbound and outbound movements of goods. The candidate will coordinate shipments, liaise with customs brokers, and monitor KPIs to improve operations.

The role requires a relevant degree orLevel 6 qualification, 5 years’ experience in logistics, and 2 years in a supervisory capacity. This is a full-time on-site position based in Jamaica.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Supply Chain Management or CIPS Level 6.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a similar role.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares Purchase Orders for the company.
• Expedites Purchase Orders from the suppliers to designated receiving locations.
• Supervises the Logistics staff.
• Coordinates the movement of goods via different transport modes.
• Liaises with Customs Brokers and related parties for clearance of incoming goods.
• Monitors and reports on KPIs for the Logistics Department.
• Assists with organizing export shipments by courier, air or sea.
