Job summary

F.T. Farfan (Jamaica) Limited is seeking an inventory clerk to provide clerical support and assist with logistics and inventory activities in Jamaica.

The role involves processing and filing inventory transactions, updating logs, and ensuring accuracy in costings and stock records. The position requires at least two years’ experience, five O’Level passes including English and Mathematics, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Five O' Level passes including English and Mathematics.
• Minimum of two years in a similar role.
• Cert in Materials Management (e.g., CIPM) or equivalent is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Process and file manual inventory transactions in the database.
• Cost and entry of foreign/local purchases into system.
• Update receiving logs and reconcile inventory variations.
• Assist in spot checks and stock-taking preparations.
• Audit transaction books and verify against documents.
• Assist with pricing and re-pricing in the database.
• Follow up on outstanding orders and shipments.
• Maintain ISO standards compliance and HSE awareness.
