Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Stores & Logistics Coordinator in Middlewich to manage stores, stock and logistics operations while supporting the purchasing team. This full-time, permanent role involves coordinating UK and international shipments, handling import/export documentation and maintaining packaging procedures.

The opportunity offers a 36-hour week, flexible hours, private healthcare, Death in Service cover and a Christmas shutdown, with a salary of £30,000–£35,000 DOE

Qualifications

• Experience in Stores, Logistics, Shipping or Supply Chain within manufacturing.
• Knowledge of import/export procedures and customs documentation.
• Experience working with freight forwarders and transport providers.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Proactive approach with ability to improve processes.
• Good communication across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shipping documentation (invoices, packing lists, export paperwork).
• Pack, label and prepare goods for shipment.
• Arrange UK and international shipments; obtain freight quotes and bookings.
• Manage import/export documentation; ensure HM Customs compliance.
• Provide customs clearance instructions and commodity codes.
• Track inbound/outbound shipments and update teams/customers.
• Check freight invoices against rates; resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain packaging stock and safe packaging procedures.
• Operate warehouse equipment for loading.
• Ensure proof of collection/delivery documentation is received.
• Manage onsite stores, goods receiving, stock control and inventory checks.
• Replenish stock and process returns; raise/p-monitor purchase orders.
• Support Senior Buyer with daily purchasing tasks.
