Job summary

Zachary Daniels Recruitment is seeking a proactive Logistics & Operations Coordinator for a global manufacturing business in Warrington. This part-time role offers flexibility in hours and days and a permanent contract.

You will coordinate domestic and international shipments, manage documentation, and work with suppliers and transport providers to support operations and projects. 24 hours per week, £15-£17 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous logistics, shipping, or coordination experience.
• Competent with Microsoft Office and accounting or logistics software.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong time management and organisational skills.
• Adaptable and able to work in a busy contracting or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring documentation is accurate and schedules met.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, and transport companies.
• Arrange hired plant and equipment per project requirements.
• Manage urgent shipments and tight deadlines.
• Provide proactive communication and logistical support to meet customer expectations.
• Plan materials and deliveries to support depot manufacturing operations.
• Assist with travel and logistics arrangements for site-based teams.
