Johnson Matthey Plc in Brimsdown is seeking a Logistics Store Operator to support stock management, safe operation of forklifts, and adherence to EHS policies. You will maintain stores, process receipts and issues of production items, and ensure SAP-based inventory accuracy.

The role requires forklift licenses (counterbalance and reach), GCSEs in Maths/English, and IT literacy. Johnson Matthey offers hybrid/flexible options and a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees.

Responsibilities

• Carry out duties within skills and as instructed.
• Maintain stock levels on IT systems used by Stores.
• Receipt, storage and issue of production consumables from Stores.

The role:

As a Logistics Store Operator, you will help drive our goals by:

• Adhering to all EHS & Security policies and procedures
• Complying fully with all Standard Operating Procedures
• Operating all mobile plant and equipment safely (Counterbalance, Reach and Articulated forklift trucks)
• Carry out any other duties which are within the employee’s skills and abilities, whenever reasonably instructed.
• Maintaining levels of stock on IT programs specifically used with the stores department.
• Receipt, storage and issue of production consumables from Stores.

Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:

• Good level of literacy and numeracy (GCSE Grades A-C in Maths & English or equivalent) (GCSE Grades
• IT literate (Microsoft Office) - Essential
