Job summary

Right Now Group are recruiting for a Logistics Shipping Coordinator to join a leading aviation logistics operation based in Heston, Hounslow. This is a 4 on/4 off night shift role (19:00–07:00) offering a salary of £34,500 per annum and opportunities to work within a specialized aviation logistics operation.

You will support the distribution and export of aircraft spares worldwide, handling documentation, system updates and KPI-driven processing in a busy 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• Strong PC skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work accurately to strict deadlines and customer KPIs.
• Proactive approach with strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous experience using logistics or operational systems would be advantageous.
• An interest in aviation, aircraft spares or logistics would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shipping documentation for distribution and export of aircraft spares worldwide.
• Process shipments in line with customer KPIs and deadlines.
• Update and operate various operational systems and shipping databases.
• Monitor emails and dashboards to ensure timely enquiries and on-time AOG shipments.
• Liaise with supervisors, warehouse teams and collecting agents to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Assist the warehouse with data uploads and provide general administrative support to the operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator with a background in shipping, export or customer service to join a busy aviation environment supporting the distribution and export of aircraft spares worldwide.

Working as part of a 24/7 operation, you'll be responsible for preparing shipping documentation, monitoring operational systems and ensuring shipments are processed accurately and within customer KPIs.

Key Responsibilities of a Logistics Shipping Coordinator Nights

• Prepare shipping documentation for the distribution and export of aircraft spares worldwide.
• Process shipments in line with customer KPIs and required deadlines.
• Update and operate various operational systems and shipping databases.
• Monitor emails and operational dashboards, ensuring enquiries are answered promptly and AOG shipments are not at risk of being processed late.
• Liaise with supervisors, warehouse teams and collecting agents to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.
• Assist the warehouse with data uploads and provide general administrative support to the wider operation.

The Successful Candidate - Logistics Shipping Coordinator Nights

• Previous experience within Export OR Customer Service would be advantageous.
• Ideally 2 years' experience within Export OR Customer Service.
• Strong PC skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work accurately to strict deadlines and customer KPIs.
• Proactive approach with strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous experience using logistics or operational systems would be advantageous.
• An interest in aviation, aircraft spares or logistics would be beneficial.

• Salary: £34,500 per annum.
• Location: Heston, Hounslow.
• Hours: 4 on / 4 off - 19:00 - 07:00.
