Job summary

DPD UK is recruiting for 5 experienced Logistics Shift Manager to join our high performing Logistics Solutions Management team across all shift patterns.

You’ll manage a small team of operatives delivering day-to-day warehouse pick and pack operations, driving KPIs for productivity, costs to plan and process accuracy while promoting service levels and continuous improvement. The role requires strong leadership, communication and analytical skills and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in a logistics operation with proven people management experience.
• Strong communication skills to inspire, motivate and manage a team.
• Decisive and effective decision-making, problem resolution and time management skills.
• High levels of resilience, self-motivation and flexibility.
• Excellent computer skills with the ability to use Google Chrome applications.
• Ability to do comprehensive reporting and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a small team of operatives to deliver day-to-day warehouse pick and pack operations.
• Oversee KPIs for productivity, costs to plan and process accuracy while maintaining service levels.
• Promote adherence to HR, Health and Safety, Quality and Housekeeping policies and training.
• Drive improvement initiatives across the warehouse operations.
