Job summary

Gaskells Waste is seeking a Transport & Service Delivery Coordinator in Liverpool. You will coordinate daily commercial waste collections, support drivers, and maintain clear communication with customers and internal teams to ensure on-time, compliant service.

The role requires problem-solving, teamwork, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high service standards. Training and development are provided in a growing company.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with customers and drivers across teams.
• Strong organisation and time management are required to manage multiple collections.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and make quick decisions in a busy environment.
• High attention to detail and strong administrative capabilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day delivery of commercial waste collection services.
• Brief drivers on workload and ensure they have required resources for rounds.
• Debrief drivers, review work, and resolve issues for accurate records.
• Monitor vehicle movements with transport systems and maintain data quality.
• Respond promptly to missed collections and access problems; inform customers of delays.
• Liaise with Sales, Customer Services, Workshop and Operations to ensure seamless service.
