Join Our Team as a Logistics Security Officer at Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services

We are looking for a dedicated Logistics Security Officer to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a safe environment for visitors and colleagues.

Job Details

• Pay rate: £12.45 per hour
• Shifts: Various (to be discussed at interview)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver industry-leading customer service
• Conduct patrols of the depot
• Provide visible security presence for colleagues, contractors, and visitors
• Utilise CCTV to support crime and stock loss reduction
• Liaise with depot management
• Deter theft and other poor working practices
• Conduct searches (details to be discussed at interview)
• Respond to incidents and requests for assistance, taking control until arrival of relevant authorities
• Highlight breaches of security procedures and internal/external crime
• Support access and egress operations
• Perform gatehouse duties, including vehicle bookings and supporting transport operations
• Maintain reasonable PC skills

Qualifications and Requirements

• Current SIA licence or certificates preferred (training can be provided in some cases)
• Full 5-year checkable employment/education history
